All of my role-play related stuff has been moved to [info]muses_inc from Greatestjournal. At the moment it is a bunch of character profiles (as in 200, spread over 5 years). Eventually, I will get it all organized again. Until then, I'll just be hiding from the prospect and glad I got all the crap archived.

I've managed to get the userinfo for the Who game up. It is rough, it is basic, and it can be found here.

Okay, so. @ 09:48 am

I feel the need to explain that when I originally tossed this idea out, my intend was pretty much to create a community for people to play in at all. That means no applications, claims, character journals or profiles - just characters moving in and out as the players felt like playing, for the sake of playing.

It's occured to me that there is a lot of potential for confusion in that set-up, especially when people have never gamed before and the group is bigger than about four.

To that end I'm going to suggest half-measures. I'm still not going to do an application process. I am going to ask for a simple profile, and ask that you play from character journals. This will help with continuity issues.

What that means, basically, is since there is the potential (and in some cases likelyhood) of several versions of the same character running about, it will be easier and less confusing to keep up with who is who, and to continue on-going storylines, if every character is posting from their own journal, with a short, viewable profile.

Characters can still be dropped/created and move in and out of the game at will and whim. I'm still not going to have update requirements or much actual structure. This game is still just intended to be an umbrella for people to play under, and to have fun with each other. I just want the potential for continuity to exist, rather than every meeting being a first one.

I will throw together some basic rules, the profiles, and some general universe information later this evening. For now, I'm making an actual post for the purpose of answering questions.

Also, this is the place to let me know if you would *rather* have a more 'formal game' type setting? AU versions of characters would still be allowed, but it would involve a bit more work from me, a little more structure, work and commitment from everyone Obviously, that wasn't my first thought, but if it's what people want, we can go there.
